Job summary

EMR seeks a Regional Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. This mobile role covers locations across the South and South-West London area, with a company van and tools supplied. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, with overtime available.

The role demands hands-on experience with heavy plant and mobile machinery, independently managing your workload and site responsibilities while ensuring reliable plant performance and detailed maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Proven background maintaining and repairing heavy plant and mobile machinery in engineering environments.
• Able to work independently, managing your own time, workload, and site responsibilities effectively.
• Full UK driving licence (company van and tools provided)

Responsibilities

• Monitor, fault-find, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment including conveyors, crushers, screens, shredders and shears
• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operational performance.
• Maintain, monitor, and document all service, maintenance, and CMMS records.
• Identify, investigate, and report machine faults and damages using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring issues

About Our Opportunity:
