Job summary

EMR Group is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. This hands-on role covers sites in the South and South-West London area, with a company van and tools provided. You will perform reactive, predictive, and planned maintenance across conveyors, crushers, screens, shredders and shears.

You will document all service and CMMS records, fault-find, and apply RCA to prevent recurrences. A Full UK driving licence is required to operate the company van and travel between sites.

• Proven background maintaining and repairing heavy plant and mobile machinery in engineering environments.
• Full UK driving licence (company van and tools provided)

• Monitor, fault-find, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment including conveyors, crushers, screens, shredders and shears
• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operational performance.
• Maintain, monitor, and document all service, maintenance, and CMMS records.
• Identify, investigate, and report machine faults and damages using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring issues

About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a core member of the maintenance function, you will carry out reactive, predictive, and planned maintenance across our sites. This is a mobile role covering locations within the South and South-West London area only, with a company van and tools provided. Working hours are Monday–Friday, with overtime available.
