Job summary

Brookfield M&E Ltd in London is seeking a Hybrid Mechanical Estimator with proven experience in commercial fit-out and refurbishment. You will manage tenders from enquiry to submission, producing accurate estimates for HVAC, ventilation, pipework and plumbing.

The role covers office fit-outs, retail refurbishments and other mechanical packages. You will work with suppliers and subcontractors, attend client meetings and ensure competitive pricing while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical estimating experience in commercial fit-out/refurbishment sectors is required.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are important for coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Hybrid Mechanical Estimator required. We are currenlty looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator for a established mechanical and electrical contractor in London.

This is an exellent opportunities to work on a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London. The successful Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for managing tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission, producing accurate and commercially competitive estimates for mechanical building-services packages.

The role will cover projects including high-quality office fit-outs, retail and commercial refurbishments. Mechanical packages will typically include HVAC, ventilation, air conditioning, pipe work and plumbing.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Producing detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans
• Completing accurate material and labour take-offs

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within the commercial fit-out, refurbishment or mechanical building-services sector. You should be confident pricing mechanical packages independently and have a strong understanding of current labour, plant and material costs.
