Job summary

Graphene Recruitment Group is working with a leading M&E contractor in London to recruit a Mechanical Estimator. The role offers hybrid working with up to two days from home and a market salary of £75,000 to £100,000 DOE.

You will prepare detailed estimates for commercial and data centre projects, analyse drawings and specs, perform take-offs using Trimble software, and coordinate with suppliers and pre-construction colleagues to ensure competitive, compliant bids for high-profile London schemes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services sector.
• Strong expertise in commercial pipework systems and installations.
• Proficiency with Trimble estimating software.
• A detail-driven mindset with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple tenders.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial and data centre projects.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking to take the next step in your career with a company that's growing fast, investing in its people, and delivering some of London's most exciting projects?

Our client is a well-established and highly respected M&E Engineering contractor, built primarily on subcontractor work across some of London's most prestigious commercial buildings. Alongside that, they've also delivered data centres as a Tier 1 contractor in their own right, working directly with banking sector clients and they've just secured their first data centre project in Europe. With turnover sitting at £60m and a growing order book behind it, now is the perfect time to join.

To support this expansion, they are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Estimator to become a key part of their collaborative and forward-thinking estimating team.

The Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in securing future work by producing accurate, competitive estimates across a range of high-value projects. This is a hybrid position, offering up to two days per week working from home, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
