Job summary

Boston Rose Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Tutor/Assessor to deliver Level 3 Mechanical Fitting & Assembly training to apprentices at Heathrow and across Greater London. The role requires a recognised teaching or assessing qualification and a Level 3+ Mechanical Engineering qualification, with willingness to travel.

The starting salary is £40,000, rising to £41,200, with permanent full-time employment, and benefits including generous leave, pension, electric car scheme and staff

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching or training qualification required.
• Recognised assessing qualification required.
• Level 3+ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 Mechanical Fitting & Assembly training to apprentices.
• Assess Level 2 and Level 3 engineering apprentices across standards.
• Conduct workplace visits, progress reviews and practical assessments.
• Support apprentices to develop technical knowledge and practical skills.
• Prepare learners for end-point assessments.
• Maintain learner records and portfolios.
