Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Location: Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

Pay Range: Up to £46,500 plus excellent package

Contract Type: Permanent

We are recruiting for a global manufacturer seeking a hands-on, mechanically biased engineer to maintain a production site known for industry-leading products. The site processes and packs thousands of units daily, representing world-class manufacturing and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering Technician

1. Service, adjust, and repair machinery using appropriate tools safely.
2. Examine machinery, report on condition and performance, and lead improvements with autonomy.
3. Perform planned and preventive maintenance per schedules.
4. Maintain site operations to world-class standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or maintenance, or similar manufacturing qualification.
• Equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably in manufacturing.
