Job summary

RWE Generation UK offers a Mechanical Engineering placement within the Rotating Equipment team, based at Swindon or sites across the UK. Start date 28th June 2027, full-time, fixed-term for 13 months.

You’ll work on real engineering problems, perform data analysis, and gain hands-on skills while collaborating with a diverse engineering group. The role provides opportunities to visit other sites, attend training, and develop personal and technical capabilities, with benefits including a

Qualifications

• Currently studying a BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering degree at undergraduate level.
• Interest in energy industry and mechanical engineering challenges.
• Valid driving licence is preferred for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Work with Mechanical Engineers to resolve real engineering problems.
• Undertake data analysis to diagnose problems for short- and long-term projects.
• Gain on-site experience and practical skills on rotating equipment.
