Salary: £31075.87 - £43357.07 per annum

Overview

South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a full-time Mechanical Engineering Lecturer with experience of teaching Mathematics. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team and work within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Mechanical Engineering courses to Level 3 & 4 apprentices, Level 2 & 3 full-time BTEC learners, and Engineering T-level at South Staffordshire College's Tamworth and Cannock campuses.
  • Prepare, deliver and assess various aspects of Mechanical Engineering programmes for apprentices and full-time learners on our Engineering pathways.
Qualifications
  • Relevant teaching qualification, or working towards one (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed).
  • Minimum level 4 qualification in a Mechanical or Engineering subject area.
  • Experience in the Mechanical Engineering industry, with recent experience of Maths/Science based subjects.
  • Assessor and/or verifier award would be advantageous.
Requirements

  • Interviews to be held Week Commencing 20 October 2025.
