Job summary

Linx Printing Technologies, a Veralto company, invites a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a four‑person mechanical team. You will drive engineering excellence, accountable ownership, and high‑quality delivery while developing next‑generation printer systems with cross‑functional partners.

This hybrid role in St Ives combines hands‑on engineering with people leadership, ensuring robust design reviews, risk management, and scaled production readiness across global markets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading mechanical teams.
• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive Eng or time‑served experience.
• Experience with multi‑disciplinary design teams and hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the mechanical team (4 people).
• Oversee accelerated product development of new printers using robust mechanical design.
• Ensure design reviews, verification, validation and risk management are robust.
• Collaborate across departments to meet quality, cost and time‑to‑market goals.
• Develop and apply KPIs, FMEA and CAD/DFM tools for design improvements.
• Build a culture of ownership and high ethical standards in engineering.
