Job summary

Linx Printing Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead and develop the mechanical team, drive engineering excellence and deliver high-quality printer systems. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong engineering background and the ability to work across functions to meet aggressive milestones.

You will shape next-generation printers, manage design reviews, and ensure robust verification, validation and risk management across global markets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in team building and people development.
• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive Engineering or time-served experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams for industrial components.
• Knowledge of CAE tools and integration of electronics and software.
• Experience with SolidWorks/Creo; Windchill advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the mechanical team, driving technical excellence and ownership.
• Oversee accelerated product development of new printer products using design for manufacturing.
• Deliver project milestones and KPIs with design reviews, verification, validation and risk management.
• Collaborate across departments to mitigate risks and achieve quality, cost, and time-to-market goals.
• Improve systems and processes, develop new technologies and standard toolsets.
• Be the technical specialist for mechanical engineering and regulatory safety in a global market.
• Foster a culture of ownership and high-quality outcomes.
