Job Description
What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Engineer - Valves Contracts you will join us in Bristol to support our activities within the Energy Sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Surveillance of technical documents and drawings from contractors.
  • Conduct technical reviews and resolve issues/queries.
  • Review, approve, and contribute to design development as required.
  • Assess and manage non-conformances, exemptions, and design changes.
  • Oversee the evolution of contract scope and technical requirements.
  • Review and approve contract amendments and exemptions (CTSs, ERs).
  • Coordinate with RD and client teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment with interfacing systems.
  • Provide regular updates on risks, issues, and progress to support contract delivery.
  • Ensure qualification activities align with contract progress and site requirements.
Who are we looking for?
  • A strong background in technical leadership within nuclear, energy, or complex engineering projects.
  • Experience in contract oversight, design review, and technical issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and qualification processes.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing and analysing reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and qualification processes.
  • Relevant Industrial background in either oil and gas, chemical, power or Nuclear sector.
