Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Rugby, UK to design, develop and improve mechanical components and systems, with a degree of autonomy within established policies and processes. You will work across product development and optimization projects, guided by results reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Solid experience in mechanical design, analysis, or evaluation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in Catia V5.
• Understanding of rotating equipment (e.g., turbines, pumps, compressors, motors).
• Experience working with complex manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to plan, document, and execute engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical test rigs to validate components and systems.
• Contribute to the technical improvement of existing products and components, particularly within rotating equipment.
• Apply sound engineering principles to solve complex technical and manufacturing challenges.
• Use tools such as Catia V5 to create and validate designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
• Interpret technical requirements and ensure designs meet business, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Present technical findings and contribute to team discussions and decision-making.
