EXPEDITE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LIMITED in Oxford is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a small, high-potential team. The role focuses on delivering complex building services design projects for Oxford University, colleges and lab work, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and flexibility.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary group, contribute to technical design, liaise with clients, and ensure projects meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of working in Mechanical Building Services Design.
• UK driving licence.
• Ideally hold an industry recognised BEng or MEng degree.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects, including providing technical support.
• Monitor budgets for clients based on their specifications to ensure work is delivered to budget and timescales.
• Liaise with clients and external designers.
• Compile specifications, drawings and contract documents to the required technical quality, ensuring designs comply with the relevant codes, standards, regulations and procedures.
• Provide building engineering services design to buildings and infrastructure.
• Identify scope changes, under the change control process, and maintain planning and cost control.
