Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear, Manchester

This role involves working on complex projects in the energy industry, focusing on nuclear, renewable, and other energy sectors. The successful candidate will develop engineering solutions, collaborate with clients and teams, and contribute to the UK's energy and environmental security.

Role requirements:

• Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or relevant qualification)
• Experience in mechanical engineering substantiation and technical report writing
• Experience with delivery accountability for mechanical solutions
• Ability to engage with clients and understand their issues and goals

Preferred experience includes finite element analysis, piping and pressure vessel design, working within safety-critical environments, familiarity with design codes, automation tools, and professional chartership status.
