Job summary

Rotork is seeking a hands-on engineer to join our full development lifecycle team. You will work on concepts through to testing and manufacturing, contributing to core products, enhancements, and new innovations.

You will translate stakeholder requirements into robust outputs, develop test specifications, and present findings to technical leads and customers, while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
  • Experience with agile/project management methods would be advantageous

Join our high‑performing engineering team and help deliver effective, fit‑for‑purpose solutions to customers worldwide. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work across the full development life cycle — from concept and design through to testing and manufacture — contributing to core products, enhancements, and new innovations.

About You

You’re proactive, practical, and driven, with the ability to work collaboratively and deliver high‑quality engineering solutions on time.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Technical Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Product design, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in and designing products for the nuclear power industry
  • Awareness of NCR Regulation 10CFR Part 50 Appendix B, and Part 21 reporting
  • Awareness of CSA N299 series of standards
  • Familiarity with IEEE Nuclear Standards (382, 323, 383 and 344) for design & engineering.
  • Previous design experience with castings, gears, electric motors, seals, CAD drawings and 3D models.
  • Proven experience of analysing, designing, testing and enhancing existing/new products used in an industrial environment.
  • Understanding of a variety of project management methodologies (e.g. agile).
