Job summary

Rivan Industries in London is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to own a sub-system of our DAC project, driving manufacturability, longevity and performance. The role demands taking ownership of design workstreams from concept to build and test, with hands-on fabrication and testing in a fast, minimal-bureaucracy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical/aero or related field.
• Evidence of designing, building and making hardware work.
• Experience with CAD and top-down assembly structures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defined mechanical design workstreams from concept through detailed design, build and testing.
• Design parts and assemblies in SOLIDWORKS within top-down assembly structures.
• Produce and iterate manufacturing drawings with the fabrication workshop.
• Build, modify and troubleshoot prototypes and test rigs hands-on.
• Run mechanical and reliability testing, recording conditions, results and observations clearly.
