Kinetic plc in Barnsley, England, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing machinery manufacturer. You will lead mechanical assembly, read engineering drawings, and work with pneumatics, contributing to build, installation and testing of bespoke equipment.

The role offers progression opportunities, a permanent contract, and a salary of £39,000–£43,000 per year plus bonus, pension and private healthcare. Flexible hours Mon-Fri 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Strong background in machine build / mechanical fitting.
• Confident reading engineering drawings.
• Good pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• CNC or machining experience beneficial.
• Ideally 8+ years' engineering experience.
• Proven supervisory capability.
