Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer, or a Technician ready to take the next step in your career? Join Enfinium at our state-of-the-art Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in Kemsley and play a key role in effectively running efficiently and safely.

At Enfinium, we’re on a mission to transform waste into sustainable energy. Whether you're an established engineer or a hands-on Technician looking for that next challenge, we want to hear from you.

Your Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be part of a dedicated maintenance team, ensuring the mechanical integrity of our plant through preventative and reactive maintenance. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining safe, efficient operations—and if you’re stepping up from a Technician role, you’ll get the support you need to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Ensuring Safety & Compliance – Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across all maintenance activities.
  • Supporting or Leading Technicians – Depending on your experience, take the lead or begin building your leadership skills while supporting performance and development.
  • Optimising Plant Performance – Troubleshoot faults, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions to meet key performance indicators.
  • Delivering Planned Maintenance – Use our CMMS to schedule and carry out preventative maintenance, improving reliability and reducing downtime.
  • Managing Outages & Contractors – Support or manage planned outages, working closely with contractors to complete maintenance efficiently and safely.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement – Help develop and deliver mechanical compliance strategies, always looking for ways to raise the bar.
What We’re Looking For:
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Engineering discipline (or working towards it)
  • Experience in Energy from Waste, power generation, or a similar heavy industry
  • A problem-solving mindset and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Leadership experience—or the desire and potential to grow into a leadership role
  • Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH or NEBOSH) – desirable
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and safe systems of work – a plus
