This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of complex mechanical systems across a varied estate, contributing to the university's mission of excellence in education and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment
• Supporting the design and project management of mechanical services across capital works
• Advising on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with current legislation
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure high standards of service delivery

About You:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Proven experience in a similar building services/estates environment, ideally within the public or higher education sector
• Strong understanding of HVAC, BMS, and other mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
