Job summary

AfterQuery Experts, a research lab backed by top investors, invites applications for a remote, project-based mechanical engineer role. You will create and refine CAD models, produce manufacturing-ready drawings, and support product development across multiple projects. The workload is 10-20 hours per week with asynchronous collaboration.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and iterate on mechanical designs and CAD models for components, assemblies, and systems.

Job description

This is a remote, project-based role for mechanical engineers with hands-on experience in CAD and mechanical design. You will complete tasks spanning mechanical design, engineering analysis, technical documentation, and product development support. Work is asynchronous and assigned on a project-by-project basis, with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week for the projects you accept.
