Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a hands–on, inventive design engineer with a passion for turning complex electromechanical ideas into reality? This is your chance to join a dynamic, forward–thinking team working on high–precision systems that power industries and energy sectors worldwide.

In this role, you ll own the full product lifecycle from initial concept and detailed design through prototyping, testing, and production. You ll work side–by–side with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative products and continuously refine existing designs, making a real impact on cutting–edge projects.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing advanced electro–mechanical products to meet specifications, budgets, and timelines
  • Producing clear, accurate design documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and servicing
  • Driving continuous improvement through design reviews and product optimisation
  • Applying industry standards to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability
  • Collaborating with production engineering and supply chain teams to take prototypes to full production
  • Supporting quality and environmental management processes
  • Researching and applying new technologies, materials, and design techniques
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering
  • At least 3 years experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related CAD tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including CNC machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, welding, coatings, and 3D printing
  • Practical, hands–on approach to solving engineering challenges
  • Sharp attention to detail and drive to deliver high–quality, reliable products
