Job Description:
Maintenance Operations
- Perform maintenance and service of equipment and locations in accordance with the Maintenance Area of Responsibility document.
- Support the Area Responsible in maintenance planning.
- Identify spare parts requirements and technical specifications for maintenance work.
- Create MRF forms for non-stock spare parts and materials.
- Assist the Area Responsible in daily activities as required.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for repetitive tasks.
- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for maintenance activities.
- Review and update work instructions regularly.
- Define Maximo master data content and coordinate data update projects with Maximo admin.
- Create and process Maximo data requests.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and collaborate with the Area Responsible to implement necessary actions.
- Create and update work orders in Maximo.
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate with production regarding troubleshooting cases.
- Supervise shutdowns and evaluate work execution schedules.
- Inform shutdown leader of delays or changes needed during shutdowns.
- Provide information and propose solutions for shutdown plan changes.
- Develop and ensure implementation of maintenance working methods and practices within your area of responsibility.
Reliability
- Facilitate, support, and participate in RCA investigations as required.
- Implement actions from RCA within your area.
- Support the integration of a reliability-centered maintenance program.
- Identify and support development and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with mill reliability specialists and the development team on reliability issues.
- Identify maintenance improvements and prepare related projects.
- Review and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) content.
- Develop preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Create lifetime estimations for assets and define long-term maintenance strategies.
- Maintain and develop long-term service plans for critical assets, including major repairs.
- Maintain cost awareness of maintenance activities.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / HNC/HND Degree with a relevant apprenticeship and experience.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a Mechanical Maintenance environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Paper and Forest Manufacturing is desirable.
