Job summary

Forgewell Partners is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Doncaster. The role is mechanical-led (roughly 80% mechanical, 20% electrical) with sensor replacement and fault-finding on large-scale industrial process equipment driven hydraulically.

Expect a Monday-Friday shift with 8-hour days and only occasional nights. You should have strong mechanical maintenance experience in heavy process manufacturing and be comfortable with

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance background within heavy process manufacturing (extrusion, foundry, metals, heavy fabrication, or similar).
• Basic to good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Comfortable with light electrical maintenance tasks
• Experience working in a shift-based environment, Monday-Friday.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Doncaster

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) | Location: Doncaster | Shift: Monday-Friday |3 Shift Pattern | 8 hour shifts (only occasional nights).

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Doncaster for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

This is a genuinely mechanical-led role so roughly 80% mechanical, 20% electrical with experience on sensor replacement, basic fault-finding. You'll be working on large-scale industrial process equipment, including hydraulically-driven machinery.
