Job summary

OCS Group Limited in London is seeking a skilled Plumbing/Facilities Technician to join our hard services team. You will carry out on-site plumbing duties and provide technical engineering support with minimal supervision to the FM client, ensuring servicing and maintenance across assets.

You will monitor contractors, uphold standards, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality facilities management services. A valid UK work status and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

Applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
Relevant certifications and qualifications required for the role, including CSCS/NVQ or City & Guilds in plumbing/mechanical services.
Previous experience in Facilities Management.
Ability to use electronic handheld devices.

Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing duties on site as required.
Provide a technical engineering service with minimal supervision for the OCS FM client, covering mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance and related assets.
Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship to meet standards.
Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of contracted equipment.

About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00

Key Responsibilities

To carry out plumbing duties on site as and when required.
To provide a technical engineering service with the minimum of supervision to the OCS FM client in respect of mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance and undertake the service and maintenance of other assets/trades that were deemed competent to do so.
To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.

Key Hiring Criteria

Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
Candidates must have the relevant certifications and qualifications required to meet the requirements of this position, together with relevant Grade Cards such as CSCS.NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: plumbing/mechanical services.
Previous experience working within Facilities Management.
Ability to use electronic handheld devices.
