Job summary

E3 Recruitment is recruiting for an Outside IR35 Mechanical Engineer role with home/ Hybrid-based working. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK and will join one of the UK's leading consultancies with operations nationwide and internationally.

Responsibilities include leading basic and detailed design studies, acting as Package Owner, coordinating with pharma, biotech, life sciences and chemical clients, producing documentation, and generating design calculations.

Qualifications

• Chartered Status required.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (Mech Eng, Mech Systems Eng).

Responsibilities

• Act as a focal point, conducting basic and detailed design studies from briefs and produce schemes.
• Working with a range of clients, primarily in the pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences and chemical sectors.
• Operating as a Package Owner, managing suppliers and being the primary contact for the client.
• Producing documentation to assist the manufacturing facilities and process environments.
• Generate calculations to support design concepts.

The company specialises in providing services including Project Management, Construction, Design & Consulting, Commissioning, HSE and PS.They provide this service to clients all over the world, operating within the following areas; Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technologies, Food & Beverage, Energy, Chemicals, Construction and more.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer;

To be successful in this position as Mechanical Engineer we are looking for a candidate with Chartered Status and degree in a relevant discipline (Mech Eng, Mech Systems Eng etc.).The ideal candidate will hold at least 10 - 15 years' experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or related within Design.
