Are you a hands-on Mechanical Technician looking for a new opportunity within a specialist engineering environment?
We are working with an established and growing engineering business that specialises in the repair and refurbishment of components for the commercial aviation industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their friendly and skilled workshop team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a practical mechanical background who enjoys working with their hands, has a good eye for detail and is keen to develop their technical skills within a specialist industry.
Working as part of a close-knit Mechanical team, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair and refurbishment of a range of mechanical components.
We are looking for someone who is hands‑on, practical and mechanically minded, with experience working in a technical or engineering environment. Ideally, you will have experience as a Mechanical Technician, with previous experience in areas such as trimming, upholstery, mechanical assembly or component repair within aviation, automotive, manufacturing or a similar environment. A recognised engineering qualification such as BTEC, BNC, ONC, HNC or HND would be beneficial, although this is not essential if you have the right practical experience and attitude.
