Electrical & Mechanical Technician

Are you a practical, hands-on technician looking to join a successful and expanding engineering business?Our client, located near Stamford, is seeking Electrical and Mechanical Technicians to support their growing workshop operation. Candidates with relevant practical experience are encouraged to apply, regardless of whether they hold formal engineering qualifications.

The Opportunity:

This role offers the chance to become part of a skilled production team responsible for assembling and maintaining a range of electrical and mechanical equipment. Working within a workshop environment, you'll be involved in varied tasks that require a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and build electrical and mechanical products to specification
  • Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schedules and work instructions
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within required timescales
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures and quality standards
  • Contribute positively to team performance and production objectives
What We're Looking For:

Hours & Benefits:

38 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break) Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am or alternatively 7am to 5pm Mon to Thurs (4 day week)

Pay rate up to £14.21 per hour, dependent on experience

Overtime available at 1.33x for the first four hours and 1.5x thereafter

36 days annual leave
