Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Vehicle Fitter in Peterborough. The role involves building production vehicles, maintaining rental fleet, and carrying out repairs and maintenance with emphasis on electrical fault finding in 12V and 48V systems.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in mechanical engineering and automotive environments, with welding as a plus. A valid driving license is preferred, and you will need to bring your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years mechanical engineering experience in automotive/manufacturing environments.
• 2+ years experience with 12V and 48V electrical circuits.
• Welding experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Valid driving license preferred.
• Must provide hand tools; air tools supplied by company.

Responsibilities

• Build production vehicles as per job cards.
• Prepare or repair rental vehicles as per job cards.
• Meet production target hours.
• Participate in on-the-job training program.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy and maintain clean, safe working areas.
