Job summary

North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions is recruiting a Specialist Craftsperson (Mechanical and Electrical) for the Estates team at the Trust. The role focuses on fault finding, planned maintenance, and responding to emergencies to ensure continuous hospital service delivery.

You will work under NHS frameworks with included DBS checks and a comprehensive benefits package. The post is full-time (37.5 hours) with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• 2 years site experience.
• Knowledge of low pressure hot water systems, steam raising plant, pneumatic systems and hydraulics.
• Experience in working in an Acute Hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant and infrastructure.
• Provide technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure safety standards are followed.
• Act as Competent Person for Electrical Distribution (LV) systems as defined by Health Technical Memorandum.
