Job summary

North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions is seeking a self-motivated craftsperson with strong engineering knowledge to join the estates team at the hospital. You will fault find on a broad range of plant and equipment, perform planned preventative maintenance and energy centre checks, and respond promptly to emergencies to ensure uninterrupted care.

• Experience in estates maintenance and engineering facilities.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a self motivated, I.T. literate craftsperson with excellent Engineering knowledge to join the estates team. The post holder will be responsible for fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment. The day to day duties will include planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, Energy Centre checks and responding to high priority emergencies to ensure continuity of service in a vibrant busy hospital. North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is a wholly owned company, entirely owned by the Trust., To install, maintain, service and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant and infrastructure.

Provides technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Act in the role of Competent Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum, for the Electrical Distribution (LV) system.

Undertakes condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports.
