Description: We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled specialist to join our Operations team as a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer (CFE Level VI). This day-time role involves developing innovative concepts within our Data Centres, engaging with UK and Global stakeholders to improve operational performance and customer experience.

Role Scope

Management Structure & People Management

• Serve as second point of contact when IBX manager or supervisor is unavailable.
• Support IBX manager and site supervisors in daily operations and coordination.

Site Operations & Project Involvement

• Involved in site build activities and switching schedules to meet project needs.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and liaising with vendors for major projects.
• Coordinate project timelines, secure vendor dates, and notify customers.

Customer Interaction

• Represent the customer alongside the CFE supervisor/manager.
• Participate in Customer MBRs and key meetings.
• Act as escalation point during major incidents.

Incident Management

• Provide technical support during incidents, guiding response teams.
• Collaborate during incidents with supervisors and managers for coordinated responses.
• Offer technical support across all team levels.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring as a technical assessor.
• Monday–Friday role with flexibility for incident coverage and team support.

Recognized for providing significant technical value across multiple team levels.
