Job summary

AVK|SEG in Maidenhead and London (Barbican) is seeking a Mechanical Design Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will specify and design Generator/UPS systems and develop mechanical packages, delivering documentation and drawings to program timelines.

The ideal candidate has an HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with up to 5 years' experience on mechanical projects, and a proactive approach to testing, analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working on mechanical projects as a Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Projects Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems using LabVIEW.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for system design.
• Create detailed technical drawings and documentation for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Conduct testing and analysis to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the design process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technology.
