Job summary

Martin Audio offers a 12-month placement for a Student Mechanical Design Engineer based in High Wycombe. The role involves CAD modelling, prototyping, testing and documentation within the Mechanical Design Team.

You will use Creo Parametric for 3D CAD and Windchill PLM to manage Bills of Materials and Change processes. Typical degrees include CAD-based Design Engineering, Product Design, or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• CAD modelling/ drafting experience required.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Solidworks or Fusion 360) preferred.
• Willing to work full-time 37.5 hours per week in High Wycombe.

Responsibilities

• Work on new design projects for production and manufacturing support.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo Parametric.
• Maintain Bills of Materials and participate in Change Management.
• Prototype using in-house 3D printing, CNC routing, and workshop tools.
• Assist Production Engineering with jig and fixture design.
