The Client
A forward-thinking, employee-owned construction firm specialising in building services. From design to implementation, their integrated teams ensure exceptional quality across mechanical and electrical projects.
Roles
• Manage mechanical design projects ranging from £100,000 to £10 million.
• Lead full-cycle design efforts from initial brief to final documentation.
• Collaborate with Contract Management, Estimating, and CAD/BIM teams.
• Design systems including domestic services, HVAC, ventilation, public health, and comfort cooling.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, particularly HTM standards.
• Conduct site surveys, meet with clients and consultants, and present technical designs.
• Support project delivery through strong documentation and team coordination.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design (Building Services).
• HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering.
• Proficient in building services design software.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM, Revit, and estimating tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject).
• Strong grasp of BMS and control systems.
• Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills.
