Job Description:

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established valve manufacturer based in the Brighouse area, who due to rapid success are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Producing conceptual and engineering drawings for new product ranges.
• Developing design improvements for existing product lines.
• Liaising with manufacturing teams to support and advise on manufacturing and testing processes.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Mechanical Design role.
• Living within a commutable distance of Brighouse.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of FEA & CFD.
• Experience or knowledge within the valve industry.

Salary & Benefits:

• Starting salary between £35,000 and £45,000, depending on experience.
• Holiday allowance and pension scheme.
• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position.
