Job summary

Requaero is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop bespoke scientific equipment in Cambridgeshire. You will work under senior engineers to contribute to technology projects improving mechanical designs, processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree, strong project skills, good communication and leadership potential, and CAD experience (Pro-E Wildfire). Experience with SAP ERP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a mechanical discipline or equivalent qualification/experience (higher degree preferred).
• Good project skills, able to prioritise and coordinate activities.
• Good communication skills and leadership potential.
• 3D CAD design experience (Pro-E Wildfire preferred).
• Microsoft Office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience in vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, automation an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
• Professional registration with a relevant Engineering body encouraged and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical engineering and development of the Company’s bespoke special purpose scientific equipment.
• Under the guidance of senior engineers to provide input to technology projects focusing on improving and advancing mechanical designs, processes and systems.
