Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a clean-tech business in Rugby. You will design machinery and equipment, produce CAD drawings, BOMs and schematics, and support concept and detailed design under ISO 9001 quality standards.

Experience with heat pumps, engines or thermal systems is advantageous. Using SolidWorks for concept definition, system design and component selection, you will contribute to mechanical systems, hydraulics and structural

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design of machinery in the heavy/automotive industry.
• SolidWorks experience and CAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Design machinery and equipment, produce CAD drawings, BOMs, and schematics.
• Support concept development and detailed design in line with ISO 9001.
• Contribute to design of mechanical systems, hydraulics and structural components; ensure CE marking requirements.
