MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to oversee cradle-to-grave projects in a small, specialist team. You will drive concepts to completion using SolidWorks with occasional 2D CAD work, in an office-based setting with 40 hours a week and flexi-hours.

You will benefit from further training, become the task expert on select robotics and SP machinery projects, and enjoy a strong work-life balance with 33 days holiday.

Qualifikationen

• Background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to become a technical expert.
• Experience with designing complex machinery is a plus.

Office based, Commutable from Bradford, Leeds, Skipton, Wetherby, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Harrogate, and surrounding areas

This role will suit a passionate Mechanically minded engineer looking to join a small close knit team, work on special purpose machinery projects, develop technically, progress all whilst having a great work life balance.

• 40 Employees overall and a small specialist team of 3 currently
• Working alongside the Operations Director, who started his career as a Tool Maker and Design Engineer

The Opportunity:

• Utilizing SolidWorks with rare requirement for 2D CAD, taking projects from concept to completion
• Office based, 40 hours per week with flexi-hours, and a half day on Friday finishing at 2.30pm
• Further Training and opportunity to become the task expert
