Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Strong 3D CAD and engineering drawing skills.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical products, enclosures or panels advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design panels, enclosures, brackets, fixings and sheet-metal components.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Develop new designs from concept through to manufacture.
• Work with electrical engineers to accommodate switches, wiring and controls.
• Review existing products and implement design improvements.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective and manufacturable.
• Support bespoke and customer-specific design requirements.
• Liaise with manufacturing, suppliers and customers on technical queries.
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to product range development.
