Formula 1 is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering & Design team on a fixed-term contract until 2030. Reporting to the Mechanical Design Manager, you will design, develop and produce high quality, reliable mechanical solutions for FOM and R&D projects, with extensive 3D modelling and 2D draught work.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience with PTC Creo, AutoCAD and Windchill PDMLink, and will contribute to design cycles from

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Design or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience with PTC Creo 2.0 or above is essential.
• Experience with Windchill PDMLink 10.1 is essential.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and produce high quality, reliable mechanical solutions (including comprehensive documentation).
• Design and draught components and assemblies for all Mechanical Engineering and R&D projects.
• Support, modify, maintain & repair all FOM mechanical systems (in the UK and abroad).
• Carry out 3D modelling & 2D design/ draught work while updating existing designs/diagrams.
