Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Property Services team. You will coordinate and deliver mechanical building services projects through our supply chain, ensuring high standards and conformity to specifications across diverse sites in Warwickshire.

The role sits within a professional Engineering Services team delivering revenue and capital projects for internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Proven track record in project management.
• Experience managing contractors on site.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team.
• Ability to produce works specifications to obtain quotations.
• Proven ability to manage workloads and deliver on time and within budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver works through our supply chain, ensuring high standards and conformity to specification.
• Work within the Engineering Services team on a range of revenue and capital projects for clients both within and external to the Council.
• Support multi-disciplinary engineers and surveyors across varied building types and sites.
