Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Nottingham - Commutable from Derby, Ilkeston, Bingham, Loughborough, Sutton-in-Ashfield, and surrounding areas

£35,000 - £50,000 + Office Based + Monday to Friday + Holiday + Pension + Progression Opportunities

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in building services and the design of HVAC systems?

This specialist company is going through an exciting expansion period with new projects coming their way and has established itself within the market as a stable employer over the past 50 years. In this role, you will be preparing designs, calculations, tender documents, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of thermal modelling, HVAC experience, and a qualification or degree in a relevant building services subject.

The Role:

1. Days based role - Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:30
2. Working on various projects in the UK
3. Preparation of designs, calculations, tender documents, and specifications
4. Preparation of budget costs and estimates
5. Attending project meetings

The Person:

1. Mechanical Design Engineer
2. Experience with AutoCAD, TAS & Cymap
3. HVAC design experience
4. Commutable to Nottingham
