Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical pipework and ventilation design.

Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

We are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a great mechanical contractor specialising in the design and installation of commercial building services systems.

Applicants must live locally to Tewkesbury and have AutoCAD or REVIT design experience.

If you are a mechanical design engineer, CAD Technician, or Draughtsperson, please apply for an initial chat. We are looking for both Junior and Senior Designers.

The role:

• Design of mechanical services systems including ductwork, pipework, and drainage sizing and layouts, plant and terminal selection, plant room design
• Use of AutoCAD 2D, Revit 3D, and Hevacomp thermal modelling software
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Review and approve design documents, calculations, and specifications from junior staff

Requirements:
