What are we looking for?

• Mechanical design experience, ideally within heavy engineering
• Design experience from cradle to grave
• Ability to perform hand calculations supported by SolidWorks simulation
• Solid understanding of structural and mechanical components
• Ability to interpret drawings and perform load assessments/stress analysis
• Collaborate with fabrication and manufacturing teams to meet design standards
• Provide technical support to project managers and installation teams
• Prepare and review technical drawings
• This role is based in Sheffield; candidates should be within commuting distance or willing to relocate.
