Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop cast products, injection molded components, machined parts and sheet metal fabrication. You will contribute across the full design process from concept to production and mentor less experienced engineers to help build a strong engineering team.

The successful candidate will combine practical hands-on design with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and a passion for delivering robust engineering solutions

Job description

Mechanical Design Engineer – The Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design and development of a wide array of products, including:

• Cast products
• Injection molded components
• Machined parts
• Sheet metal fabrication

You will be expected to contribute to all stages of the design process, from concept to production, ensuring robust and efficient solutions. A key aspect of this role will also involve sharing your expertise and mentoring less experienced team members, helping to build a strong and knowledgeable engineering department.
