Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking Mechanical Design Engineers for 3 positions, offering a salary of £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, plus a 5% bonus, overtime, and other benefits.

Location: Omagh - Ballygawley / Monaghan / Enniskillen / Tyrone / Armagh area

Position Type: Full-time, permanent

Our client is an expanding, established heavy metal engineering company, part of a larger group, with plans for a new manufacturing site and significant growth over the next three years. This role is an excellent opportunity to join an established design team at a pivotal time.

The role focuses on project mechanical design, working within a team environment. Responsibilities include managing entire projects from concept through development and design for manufacture, using SolidWorks, drafting Bills of Materials, and designing for efficiency and minimal wastage.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in Mechanical Design Engineering on similar products
• Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Pro Engineer / Creo, SolidEdge, or Inventor
• A relevant engineering qualification (higher education preferred), with experience considered
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
