An established building services consultancy is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing Manchester office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate to begin their engineering career with a firm dedicated to sustainable design, technical excellence, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the design and specification of mechanical building systems in line with UK regulations and standards
Supporting energy-efficient and low-carbon mechanical solutions from concept through to detailed design
Creating technical drawings, models, and schematics using CAD and BIM software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
Conducting thermal and energy calculations using design software (e.g. Hevacomp, IES, or similar)
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and sustainability consultantsThe ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related subject
A genuine interest in mechanical building systems and sustainable design
Strong technical and analytical skills
Some exposure to CAD, Revit, or engineering simulation software is desirable (training provided)Benefits:
