Chroma Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global engineering & manufacturing business in Greater Manchester. You will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and be tasked with designing and redesigning a complex electro‑mechanical product, creating detailed designs, prototypes and documents before seeing your work through to manufacture.

Qualifications

HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
3D CAD Creo (or similar).
Design for plastic injection moulding experience.
Electronics housings / enclosures design.
High volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Design and redesign a complex electro‑mechanical product.
Create detailed designs, prototypes and documentation.
See work through to manufacture.

Job description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global engineering & manufacturing business in Greater Manchester.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you ll report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and will be tasked with designing and re–designing a complex range electro–mechanical product. You ll create detailed designs, prototypes and documents before seeing your work through to manufacture.
