Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Luton.

This role is suitable for someone with over 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Design role, preferably with background in Conveyors, Materials Handling, Special Purpose Machinery, bespoke Machinery, Automation, or similar fields.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing bespoke projects for customers from concept through to completion.
2. Making modifications to existing designs.
3. Liaising with production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet project deadlines.

Key Attributes:

• Experience in designing conveyors, materials handling, mechanical handling, or special purpose machinery is preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is preferred; however, experience with other CAD software relevant to the industry will also be considered.
