Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Luton. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Design role within a fast-paced environment. Experience in Conveyors, Materials Handling, Special Purpose Machinery, bespoke Machinery, Automation, or similar fields is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion.
2. Modifying existing designs as needed.
3. Liaising with production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs can be created and meet project deadlines.

Key Attributes:

1. Experience designing conveyors, materials handling, mechanical handling, or similar machinery is preferred.
2. Proficiency in SolidWorks is preferred; experience with other CAD packages is acceptable if relevant industry experience is demonstrated.
